The Town of New Windsor owns and operates Woodlawn Cemetery located at 93 Union Avenue, New Windsor. This historic cemetery’s 72 acres was originally established as a rural cemetery in 1870. The cemetery is composed of several sloping lawns with different picturesque settings and paved paths. The two most contrasting examples of this are the shaded groves lining Union Avenue, and the pond viewable from Erie Avenue. The grounds are well-maintained with our caring and professional staff. Woodlawn Cemetery is non-denominational and welcomes people of all faiths. Traditional burial plots are available.
